The Holidays came and went and I made my first German Black Forest cake...an accomplishment I am quite proud of since I made it from scratch! Damn it was hard and the kitchen was a crazy mess but it was super worth it!

The Final Product.
Me and Mom with the Black Forrest Birthday Cake.
Tell me that's not a dangerous duo...Kiki and I had one crazy New Years. I'm so thankful that as we have gotten older we have been able to get much closer. I consider her one of my closest mates. Since we had so much fun on New Years Eve, it is needless to say that New Years Day was rather painful, sometimes laughter is the only remedy!
Like I said, New Years Day was the kicker.I have made the official move to Kentucky. Only today did I finally get everything put in its place and fully unpacked. So far, the weather has been much colder then the dirty dirty of ATL. I do enjoy my roomies so far and look forward to meeting people. I mostly just keep waiting to jump into the photoj program since it's the reason for this move.
The apartment is cozy and it's a nice first place. My bedroom is next to the stairs so I always know if people are coming and going, I swear elephants live above us, a party is planned for the big 21 coming up in a few weeks, and have I not mentioned we have 6 HBOs? Oh yeah. I know. In all seriousness I think that I will grow to really appreciate and enjoy Bowling Green over the next few years. I'm just counting down for that first snow!
