Skip Spring-Straight to Summer

As much as I despise the local saying, "if you don't like the weather now, stick around 15 minutes and you'll like it then." I must admit it went from a cool 40 degrees in the morning last week to 87 degrees this morning while I took my little Motley for his morning walk.

I don't know if it's the weather or the fact that my last 2 finals for the semester are tomorrow, but I feel like we skipped spring and headed straight into summer. I'm not so sure I like that.

On the other hand...bring on the summer vacay!

David: Beloved

10 days ago my childhood friend David left the world we're still living in. For the first time, I had to realize I am an adult dealing with an adult issue that is an inevitable part of life. A piece of my youth is with him now and I hold my memories of David very close to my heart. I only hope that I never forget his laugh because it was by far the most amazing laugh I have ever known.
I miss my friend.

Valleypalooza!

Valleypalooza 2011 at WKU. This is the event where students gather in the area on campus known as the Valley and blow off steam before the big full steam push of finals week.
