Kellie Buchanan, Auburn Ky. enjoys an afternoon visit with her two oldest sons, Zack, 9 and Jesse, 7. Recovering drug addict, Buchanan gave her mother full custody of the boys when they were both toddlers. Jesse had been sent to time out for "mouthing off" about not wanting to do his homework.
"It's a really peaceful place to work" said Bowling Green native Lee Alvey of the 110 acre cemetery, where he has been working as a grave digger for 20 years.
"I did my share of embalming and I just don't care for it anymore," said Kirby Funeral home assistant funeral director, Dwayne Lawrence, Bowling Green, Ky. Here Lawrence is seen in the funeral home casket showroom. "I'll never tell somebody these are our 'cheaper' options because I don't want that to be a factor in their planning. Instead, I say 'these are our more affordable options' and we can go from there."
I love how Cody and T.J. look like cardboard cutouts in the back hahah! Yes, I did adjust my aperture to fix that.

WKU senior, Matt Lund, LaGrange, Ky. has been the Big Red Marching Band Drum Major for both his junior and senior years. Lund is majoring in music education and is an accomplished saxophone player.
